Recruitment

Dear Potential New Member,

Congratulations on starting a new chapter of your life here at TCU and the ladies of Alpha Delta Pi would like to be the first to welcome you. College is a huge change but joining Alpha Delta Pi made the transition a lot easier. Having a family away from home helped us through the bad times and made the good times even better and we are so thankful to have shared this experience with our sisters. Throughout the recruitment process we was very overwhelmed and coming to the Alpha Delta Pi house made us feel comfortable because the girls were genuine and really wanted to get to know who we really were.

The first day in ADPi is Bid Day. Our Bid Days made us feel so relaxed and accepted by my new sisters. Then you will receive a Big Diamond Sister who will help you adapt to college life and answer any and all questions about Alpha Delta Pi. Football games are so much fun when all the Alpha Delta Pi’s get together on the fifty yard line to cheer on the Horned Frogs. Chapter retreat allows you to get to know your new sisters even better and make close lifelong friends while doing fun things like go ice skating or camping. Our philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House, is so much fun to donate our time to. We go once a month to cook dinner for the families and we always enjoy ourselves. Mom's and Dad’s weekends were great because our parents got to meet our new friends and do fun things like skeet shooting or going to the botanical gardens. Alpha Delta Pi also helped us with our grades because there is always an older sister who has taken the class you are struggling with and will help you. Of course, on nights when the chapter is not doing one of these things, there are always sisters hanging out in our relaxing chapter room watching movies.

Becoming a member of Alpha Delta Pi was a decision we are very thankful we made. We have found lifelong best friends and will never forget the memories we have made so far like spring break trips to Florida, work out nights, hockey games, road trips to Austin and day long shopping trips in Dallas. Sorority life opens many doors and will support you throughout the good and bad times. We are so happy we went through recruitment and we hope you are excited as well. We can’t wait to meet you in August!
